The Investors in People Awards 2019
The Investors in People Awards is our flagship event of the hosted annually in London for 600- 900 people. For the 2019 Awards I was responsible for project managing all operational aspects of the event including but not limited too;
Supplier, stakeholder & VIP management
Table plans & catering decisions.
Entertainment & AV decision making.
Onsite set up & delivery.
Management and delegation to staff at the venue.
Looking after a celebrity host & managing rehearsals.
Our 2019 award ceremony has been shortlisted for two Awards Awards, due to be hosted in November 2020 & has been given the Gold Awards trust mark two years running by the Independent Awards Standard Council,
Our November award for ‘Employee of the Month’ goes to not one, but two, members of our team – Scott and Rachael . For their amazing efforts with our Awards ceremony!
This year was our biggest ever, not only in attendees but also because of the number of entries we received. The feedback has been extremely positive with people sharing and commenting on social media about the awards, the venue, the food and the atmosphere! Plus, all the Exec team received some great comments on the night.
All this was completed on top of their other duties such as our other events, webinars, interviews, podcasts, newsletters, merchandise and internal events.
The Awards are a brilliant example of us at our best as an organisation. When we pull together and focus on delighting our community, that’s when we shine and succeed. Congratulations to Scott and Rachel for making that happen.
Also thanks for all your hard work in making sure the awards were planned and executed to such a high standard.

I was supporting the Event Manager for this event one month after starting at the company, it was my responsibility to lead entertainment staff and liaise with the acts on the night as well as making sure volunteer staff knew where they needed to be and direct them in their roles.
